Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor client health conditions and report changes to healthcare team
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate care records
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote cognitive stimulation
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Clean background check and TB test clearance
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and empathy skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
