Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA guidelines
- Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate scheduling and ensure smooth clinic workflow
- Assist in emergency dental procedures when needed
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Pennsylvania dental radiology license
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume settings
