Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative and orthodontic treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Execute strict infection control protocols and OSHA compliance measures
- Coordinate patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain sterile instrument processing and operatory sterilization workflows
- Synchronize digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Support front desk operations including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant Radiograph (DAR) certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental imaging software and digital radiography
- BLS/CPR certification from accredited provider
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional chairside communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Dental assisting degree or accredited program certification
