Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document care activities and maintain accurate medical records
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Implement personalized care plans under supervision of RN
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current California HHA certification required
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Clear background check and TB test
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Compassionate nature with patience and empathy
