Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments for patients across all age groups
- Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize cases based on urgency and acuity
- Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on appropriate healthcare resources and self-care measures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska RN license with at least 2 years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required; TNCC preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
