Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls via phone and triage based on severity and urgency
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Document patient interactions accurately in EHR systems
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and families
- Coordinate emergency responses and patient transfers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Train staff on triage protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 3 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and empathy abilities
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
