Role Overview:
As the Director, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-grade engineering. You are responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our AI systems, from initial concept in the lab to deployment in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term AI strategy, aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives for the 2026 timeframe.
- Lead a high-performance team of AI researchers and ML engineers specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Reinforcement Learning.
- Architect scalable, fault-tolerant machine learning infrastructure capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Establish rigorous governance frameworks for AI ethics, bias mitigation, and data privacy compliance.
- Drive innovation in edge computing and on-device AI to bring intelligence closer to the user.
- Present technical visions and roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members.
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; PhD is highly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within AI/ML.
- Deep expertise in Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX) and MLOps tools.
- Proven track record of deploying successful AI products in production environments.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed systems.
