Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Provide mobility support and assist with transfers using proper techniques
- Deliver compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient care plans are followed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to obtain Oregon CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and assist patients (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/disabled populations
- Reliable transportation for home health assignments
