Responsibilities
- Provide daily patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Support licensed nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Report patient changes or concerns to nursing team promptly
- Deliver emotional support and companionship to patients
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Flexible availability for day/evening/weekend shifts
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and infection control
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper techniques
- Compassionate approach to patient care
