Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by registered nurses and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
- Document all care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (or willingness to obtain within probationary period).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting with a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
