Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers using proper safety techniques
- Support licensed nursing staff with medical procedures and treatments
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary – training provided!
- Current American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification (or obtainable during training)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
