Responsibilities

  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating to ensure their comfort and hygiene.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Patient Mobility Support: Safely transfer patients using proper body mechanics and assistive devices to prevent injury.
  • Observation & Reporting: Monitor patient conditions and immediately report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
  • Wound Care Assistance: Help change dressings and assist with basic wound care as directed by licensed nurses.
  • Hydration & Nutrition: Serve meals and ensure patients are properly hydrated throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • CNA Certification: Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Texas (BON).
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
