Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs with precision and attention to detail
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Support nutritional needs by serving meals and assisting with feeding
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following strict infection control protocols
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate seamlessly with RNs and interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No prior healthcare experience required – we train!
- Current Texas CNA certification or willingness to obtain through our program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided during training)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper techniques
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to various Austin locations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
