Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and document resident observations accurately
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques
- Support meal service and ensure dietary needs are met
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure resident wellbeing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary - we provide paid training!
- Current Virginia CNA certification or willingness to obtain through our program
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass criminal background check and health screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude and dedication to senior care
- Basic computer literacy for documentation tasks
