Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately
- Support patients with daily living activities and maintain clean environments
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior CNA experience necessary – training provided
- Must obtain DC CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (training offered)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient dignity
- Must pass background check and health screening
