Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques
- Support meal services and monitor dietary needs
- Document resident observations and care activities accurately
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Oregon CNA certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods
