Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Support social activities and promote resident engagement
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Oregon CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Must be detail-oriented with reliable attendance
