Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Document care activities accurately and maintain resident confidentiality
- Support meal services and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings
- Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to resident dignity
- Background check and drug screening required
