Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Support nursing staff with patient care documentation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Report patient changes to licensed nursing staff
- Assist with meal service and feeding when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must obtain Texas CNA certification within 90 days
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
