Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Support meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Accurately complete patient care documentation in electronic health records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current Ohio CNA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly/disabled patients
- Reliable transportation to various facility locations
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Must be available for day/evening/weekend shifts
