Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support infection control protocols and safety procedures
- Transport patients between departments and appointments
- Participate in team huddles and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current Ohio CNA certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Clear background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude toward elderly patients
- Valid Ohio driver’s license (if transporting patients)
