Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, fluid intake, and output accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Support residents with daily activities while maintaining dignity and respect
- Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments following infection control protocols
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Texas CNA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
