Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, cleanings, and restorative work
- Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment areas per OSHA standards
- Take dental X-rays and assist with patient charting
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient appointment scheduling
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for daily procedures
- Provide post-procedure instructions and patient education
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary - we train!
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy for charting systems
- Must be willing to obtain state radiology certification
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient care
