Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, instruments, and medical supplies
- Perform vital signs measurements and basic patient assessments
- Manage patient scheduling and electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Administer injections, ECGs, and phlebotomy under supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
