Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, instruments, and equipment
- Administer injections and perform ECGs under supervision
- Update electronic health records (EHR) with patient information
- Schedule appointments and manage patient correspondence
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical assistant certification preferred (will train)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- CPR certification preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
