Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital sign measurements and EKG screenings
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Manage patient intake forms and electronic health records
- Administer injections and collect specimens under supervision
- Schedule appointments and handle basic billing inquiries
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or RMA preferred
- BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
