Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and vital sign monitoring
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain medical supplies inventory
- Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect laboratory specimens
- Update electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Schedule appointments and handle basic patient communication
- Manage front desk operations including check-in/check-out procedures
- Support patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required (will provide training if needed)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment
