Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and handle patient registration processes
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; medical assistant certificate preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic/EMR experience a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment

- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
