Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, instruments, and equipment
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA/MA certification preferred)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Willingness to complete hospital-provided training programs
- Valid CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
