Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare patients for exams and vital sign measurements
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately
- Administer injections and perform basic lab tests
- Schedule appointments and handle patient correspondence
- Maintain sterile examination rooms and medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
