Responsibilities
- Perform virtual patient intake and preliminary assessments via telehealth platform
- Assist in-clinic examinations and minor procedures under physician supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems remotely and in-clinic
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment for in-clinic use
- Coordinate patient scheduling and insurance verification
- Administer injections and collect specimens per protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certificate or Associate's Degree (CMA preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic, NextGen, or similar)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for telehealth
- Ability to work independently in remote setting
- Valid Washington State MA certification (or eligible)
- Pass background check and drug screening
