Responsibilities
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic lab tests
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) remotely
- Coordinate patient scheduling and telehealth appointments
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Administer injections and medications under provider guidance
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant certificate or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong computer skills for EHR systems
- Excellent communication and empathy skills
- Ability to work in hybrid environment
