Responsibilities
- Process medical claims using industry-standard software (Epic/Cerner)
- Assign accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes to patient records
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits eligibility
- Resolve billing discrepancies through patient/insurance communication
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all documentation
- Generate monthly billing reports for department heads
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure documentation accuracy
Qualifications
