Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records using pharmacy software
- Provide excellent customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Ensure compliance with FDA, state pharmacy board, and HIPAA regulations
- Maintain clean and organized pharmacy workspace
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on pharmaceutical practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn pharmacy software
