Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care strategies
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Maintain sterile environments during procedures and wound care
- Participate in shift handoffs and unit safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- Completion of nursing clinical rotations within past 12 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced healthcare environments
- Commitment to compassionate patient care
- Willingness to rotate shifts including weekends and holidays
