Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols at all times
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Assist in emergency response situations following established protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Active Texas RN license or eligibility for immediate licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
