Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient observations and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care procedures
- Assist in emergency response situations and code blue activations
- Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- ACLS/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program within the last 2 years
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- CPR certification maintained throughout employment
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
