Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety regulations
- Participate in shift handovers and unit quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN required)
- Active Illinois RN license (or eligibility to obtain immediately)
- BLS certification from AHA (required within 30 days of hire)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and flexible scheduling
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
