Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with focus on assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care techniques
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and hospital safety standards
- Participate in shift handovers and patient care conferences
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical patient events
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or eligible to obtain immediately)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment
