Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned clinical units while adhering to evidence-based practice protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and patient safety focus
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN) from accredited program
- Active Washington State RN license (or eligibility to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care setting (hospital or clinic)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
