Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Participate in shift handovers and unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with ADN or BSN degree
- Active North Carolina RN license or eligibility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings preferred
