Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital policies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge planning
- Participate in rapid response and emergency care situations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN required)
- Active North Carolina RN license or eligible for immediate licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Graduation from accredited nursing program within 12 months
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
