Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and IV therapy
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and condition changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in shift handovers and patient safety initiatives
- Assist in emergency response and critical care procedures as needed
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (or compact license)
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotation experience in hospital setting
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- EHR system proficiency (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
