Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including Med-Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform comprehensive assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in shift handovers and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts RN license (or eligible to obtain)
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
