Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical units with 24/7 clinical support
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments and electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations using ACLS protocols
- Educate patients and families on discharge planning and medication management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety compliance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio RN license (or eligible to obtain immediately)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- ACLS certification preferred (training provided if not certified)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
