Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based nursing practices and clinical protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess symptoms, and document observations in EMR systems
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- ADN or BSN from accredited nursing program (new graduates welcome)
- Active Texas RN license (or eligible to obtain upon hire)
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-stress environments
