Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across multiple departments including medical-surgical, telemetry, and observation units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation in Epic EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
- Participate in 24/7 rotational weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program with ADN or BSN degree
- Active Colorado RN license (or compact license with CO endorsement)
- Current BLS certification from AHA; ACLS preferred
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Exceptional communication abilities for patient and family interactions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Passionate commitment to evidence-based practice and patient advocacy
