Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in medical-surgical units following evidence-based practices
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State RN license (or eligible upon hire)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtained within 30 days)
- Minimum 6 months clinical rotation experience
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
