Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Step-down units
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining documentation standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical status promptly
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Participate in 12-week residency program with specialized clinical rotations
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and regulatory healthcare standards
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited BSN or ADN nursing program
- Active Arizona RN license (or eligible to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotations or externship experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care principles
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
