Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with supervision from experienced RNs
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, hospital policies, and JCAHO standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency situations
- Complete continuing education requirements and maintain BLS/ACLS certifications
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with ADN or BSN degree
- Active Washington State RN license (or eligible to obtain by start date)
- Passing NCLEX-RN exam results required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care setting preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
